Subject: [xsl] XPath 3.0 Functions and Operators: format-number() question From: "Dimitre Novatchev dnovatchev@xxxxxxxxx" <xsl-list-service@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 30 May 2014 04:51:42 -0000 |
One of the format-number() examples in the F&O 3.0 Recommendation is this:
format-number(12.34, '0.000e00')
http://www.w3.org/TR/xpath-functions-30/#func-format-number
I am trying to evaluate this example in Oxygen XPath/XQuery Builder
view, which uses Saxon (9.5.1.3) behind the scenes.
I get this error:
"XPath failed due to: format-number picture: Passive character must
not appear between active characters in a sub-picture"
Who is right: the specification, or Saxon?
What would be the closest to this example that will not cause any errors?
