LUCY MAUD MONTGOMERY COPYRIGHT EXTENSION ACT PASSES 2ND READING 
Canada's House of Commons has passed the second reading of a bill that
extends the term of copyright for the unpublished work of deceased
authors.  The passage comes despite opposition from an opposition party
to remove the copyright term extension provisions.
