Downloads lawful, uploads not, says Canada's Copyright Board

"Canadians are not infringing copyright by downloading music using
peer-to-peer services like Kazaa, the Copyright Board of Canada decided
on Friday. But uploading music files for other users is unlawful. The
decision will be influential, but not binding, on Canadian courts."
