DVD purchased for home use and the TEACH Act

We have a faculty member at HVCC who would like to use a clip from a DVD
purchased for home use, to illustrate the concept of body language in
her online course.  She would transmit a 9 minute segment via the
College server, for her online course.  My question is: providing the
DVD was lawfully acquired, and complies with all other elements of the
TEACH Act (password protected, limited to typical class session,
educational purpose, good faith, etc.), would this be permissible under
the TEACH Act?  I think what is confusing me a bit is the fact that the
DVD was purchased for home use - but it WAS legally acquired.  Any
insights on this are appreciated.
