The planning committee of the next Library Association of the City University
of New York (LACUNY) Institute is looking for paper proposals from those
interested in leading afternoon breakout sessions for Institute 2005:
Scholarly Publishing and Open Access: Payers and Players.  The Institute takes
place on Friday, May 20th 2005.
Be a part of an exciting program that opens with a keynote by Dr. Harold
Varmus, Nobel Prize Winner and co-founder of the Public Library of Science and
a response by Dr. Martin Blume, Editor-in-Chief of the American Physical
Society.
Topic of the breakout sessions may include, but not be limited to:
 Content Producers, Administrators & Policy Makers
   Digital archives and preservation
   University intellectual property policies and open access
   Security concerns and open access
