The ALCTS Networked Resources and Metadata Interest Group (NRMIG) will
meet on Sunday, January 22, 2006, from 8:00 to 10:00 am in the Henry B.
Gonzales Convention Center, Room 207B.

There will be a business meeting from 8:00 until approximately 8:45.  
Following that will be a discussion with guest Karen Coyle, centering
around the topic of rights management metadata.

Karen Coyle is a recognized expert in the field of digital libraries,
metadata and information retrieval, and has done recent work on Rights
Expression Languages, including a report for the Library of Congress
(http://www.loc.gov/standards/relreport.pdf).  A full bibliography of
her work is available from her website (http://www.kcoyle.net/).

Everyone is invited to attend both the business meeting the discussion.
