Cheryl, Our computer science department has been teaching a two-semester series of courses like this for several years. Students keep the rights to whatever they create unless they produce aps as an employee of the university or use substantial university resources. Several of our students have gone into business as a result of these opportunities. Cheers, jrg -----Original Message----- From: Cornett, Cheryl L. Do the students own all of the rights, or doeas the university potentially have a share in the sales since it was produced at the university using their facilities? My understanding is that all original work created by the student as part of their education belongs to the student, but I wanted to be sure.
