Subject: [stella] Traffic and moderation From: Glenn Saunders <krishna@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 04 Mar 1997 12:49:59 -0800 |
It looks like this list is finally coming into its own. I should probably update the info introductory file, but for now this will suffice. This list is intended for cooperative Atari 2600 programming discussions, and strategy brainstorming sessions on how to keep the 2600 alive on its 20th anniversary and beyond. Please limit discussions to these topics. If it's a personal discussion between two people, move it to e-mail. Try to avoid and stop flamewars. I know I've been as guilty as any in some of these areas, but now that we don't need to pad traffic with filler to make the list seem active anymore. The pot's been stirred and the list-members aren't just lurking anymore. I'd like this list to be high quality, not just high volume. General banter is best left for rgvc where everyone can see it and people are free to skip over (rather than download to their mailboxes) unwanted threads at the header stage. --Glenn -- To unsubscribe, send the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the body of a message to stella-request@xxxxxxxxxxx
