Unless my memory fails me, I've been told by someone in StellaCrew that
2600 Connection has a distribution of roughly only 50 copies per issue.
What is Digital Press' distribution?
The Starpath CD got most of its orders from those on the internet. Less
than 20% (estimated) mentioned they heard about it from the magazines,
despite the "all Starpath CD" issue of 2600 Connection.
People are free to interpret that data as they wish.
But maybe people now understand why I am led to believe the internet is
the place to make your most convenient and direct sales.
