This has given me an idea for another "not-enough-free-time" Atari 2600 project: a 2600-based sound generator and sequencer. The cool thing is that it should be possible to use the input port to synchronize the sequencer running on the 2600 to an external clock source, let's say a drum machine or even a Midi chain. Imagine your 2600 playing the bassline of a thumping techno track in sync with a Roland 808... :) Well, it would be great fun, but I'm not even starting to think about how it could be done. Games come first. P. -- Archives available at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/archives/ E-mail UNSUBSCRIBE in the body to stella-request@xxxxxxxxxxx to be removed.
