Subject: [stella] 6532A RIOT Chip From: Frank Palazzolo <palazzol@xxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 7 Aug 1997 22:27:22 -0400 |
Does anyone have any "official" data on the registers in the 6532A (RIOT) chip? I understand the ports which are called out in the Atari docs: 0x280 - 0x284 (mirrored at 0x380-0x384) 0x294 - 0x297 (mirrored at 0x390-0x394) However... I have reason to believe there maybe some additional registers in the chip at: 0x285 (Read) (Another timer image like 0x284?) 0x287 (Write) (???) 0x29f (Write) (like 0x297?) (I'm reverse engineering another project that uses one and it seems to do the equivalent of these operations.) Maybe someone has messed around with these "in-between" locations? An official data sheet would probably answer the question, otherwise I might just have to use the Supercharger and play around a bit...
