There is already a good classic videogame mailing list. To subscribe
you'll need to follow these instructions. This is a quote of a post by
Jeremy Wilson (xeno@xxxxxxxxxxxx), the man who started the list.

For those of you who haven't heard, there is a mailing list for the discussion
and enjoyment of classic era (1970-1984) home gaming consoles and full-size
arcade games.

It is an excellent resource for those looking for information about the
collecting hobbies, and we've had a number of great discussions, free from spam
and undesired 'for sale' posts - although we do allow trade lists.

Anyway, if you'd like to talk one-on-one with other collectors and owners, you
can join us by sending email to listproc@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe
classic-videogames' in the message body.

See you there!

Remember to introduce yourself and tell us about your classic game exploits
both past and present. Best things about the list: no flames, great person-
alities, lots of talk (of all kinds of things), and always someone to chat
with.

Thanks,
matt
