Subject: [stella] Source for DASM? From: Ruffin Bailey <rufbo@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 11 Dec 97 22:42:42 -0500 |
Hello again... Still looking for some way to assemble my attempts at making an Atari game on a Mac. I would like to publicly thank Piero Cavina for trying to figure out what's going on with XP2 on my Macs. I do have a c-compiler on my ISP. That is, my ISP has FreeBSD and though the Linux tools on Nick Bensema's page won't work, I was thinking maybe I could compile DASM on my ISP account and just ftp the assembled binaries to myself. Would that work and where could I get the code? I did try XA on the UNIX account as per Greg Troutman's suggestion, and for some reason my account didn't recognize the binary format. I even called the ISP's cust service! The horror! ;) Thanks again for your help, and perhaps some day you'll get to play a decent 2600 game as a result!
