There were two quartz crystals in the PAL VCS, that I sent to Chris Wilkson. (Hey Chris, did you already have some time to take a closer look at it?) As for PAL/NTSC differences: The programmers guide says, that PAL does 50 frames with 312 lines per second, while NTSC does 60 frames with 262 lines. That is a difference of 120 lines per second. Therefore your program would loose about 11 minutes per day when run on a PAL VCS. You might have to write a special PAL version, if that is too much for you. And if you really care about acuracy, you could try to build a joystick port connector for a DCF77 receiver, or whatever the equivalent for that is in Canada. ;-) Ciao, Eckhard Stolberg -- Archives (includes files) at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/archives/ Unsub & more at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/
