What do > others think about 2600 Joust? > The 7800 version is quite nice, but my gripe with the 2600 version is that the platforms are a little too crowded, really giving the game a more divided feel, that is, the screen really feels divided into three seperate sections more then in other adaptations of the game. Also the space between the top platforms and the ceiling is too small. Also, when you collide with the bottom of a platform you bounce down too much making it harder to manuver, the eggs never land, and they hatch too quickly, and while there is lava, there is no lava troll. Thinking about it, many of these problems are probably fixable, but I think I am going to try starting with something a little simpler, and work my way up to that. -- |@ ]@[ @| |@ ]@[ @| /@@@@@\ |@@@@@@@@@| /@@@@@\ +@@@@@@@@K |@@@| J@ ]@[ @K ;@@@^@@@;|@@@@@@@@@|;@@@^@@@; |@@@| \@@@L |@@@| .@| ]@[ |@.
