If you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat you should be able to scan your images using Adobe.

Subject: [stella] Questions..

First off, I just moved so I haven't been on the list much, but hope to have my internet back the end of this week or beginning of next week.

Second, my heart goes out to anyone who lost a loved one in the New York terror.

Now onto the Atari questions... first, I got both books Machine Language For Beginners and The Second Book Of Machine Language by Richard Mansfield. I have the first book about half scanned into my machine.. how do I import them into Adobe Acrobat or should I be scanning through Acrobat?! I have never made a PDF before.

Next, I was looking back to people talking about Arkanoid.. I don't know if these were addressed, but you were talking about values being stored for each brick for weather or not it had a capsule behind it.. why not just add a randomizer into your game loop so after a brick is hit it checks a number between 1-5.. if it's, say 3, then a capsule is dropped.. if it's 1, 2, 4, or 5 then no capsule.

I was also thinking that for some games, why not skip the on screen score to save some cycles or bytes or whatever and in between rounds show a score.

To the guy who was getting an order up for those blank Atari cases.. I'd be interested in ordering 100 of them also... that is a good price if you ask me.
