But I still don't think today's PDAs are fast enough to acheive 1:1 emulation throughput. I'm surprised that the author of PocketVCS hasn't posted any benchmarks but it doesn't sound like it's "there" yet, kinda like the days of 2600 emulation in the pentium90 era. When XScale takes over and PDA speeds skyrocket to 300+mhz I'd expect that to change, and by then it will be hard to resist getting one to use as a portable 2600, although there needs to be some better controller options (maybe via bluetooth?). The usual PocketPC screen is perfectly sized for an NTSC (noninterlaced, heh....) 2600 display (320x200) when in landscape mode, unlike the res of the Gameboy Advance.
