Just a suggestion...if you can only pick up the diamonds by having them centered in the crosshair shouldn't your ship take more damage if the enemy fire happened to hit in the crosshair too?

You were right. I played it again and that's what happened. I guess there were so many meteors on one scan line that I didn't see the ones I hit. I haven't tried it on my CC yet. Hopefully I can do that this weekend.
