Sorry, I only described the problem in my previous post.  The solution for me 
was to change the slew rates of the fast switching outputs.  Made all the 
difference in the world.  Whole circuit runs better now.  There are other 
solutions described in the linked app note if slew adjustment isnt an option 
for you.
