Just wondering, who would that be? I probably should have emailed you a
while ago, but the current Stella codebase (version 1.4pre) compiles
using SDL under Linux and Windows (gcc for Linux, MinGW for Windows).
The sound is not quite where it should be in Windows, but it is usable.
So if you (or anyone else) wanted to try to get the SDL code to compile
under Mac, then I can answer any questions you may have.

Of course, the SDL binary will be a commandline program. It always was
in Linux, and I maintain KStella (a Stella frontend) for that purpose.
For Windows, I plan to either adapt the old StellaX (version 1.1) or
Cyberstella (version 1.2) GUI to simply launch the SDL binary.
Something similar would be needed for the Mac. So once the SDL code
compiles cleanly under MacOS, all one would have to do is write a nice
GUI launcher (in Cocoa I guess).

Let me know if you have any questions,
Steve (Stella SDL maintainer)
