[Virtools] I/O access

Hello,

I have an application built with Creation that is controlled through
keyboard input.

I need to integrate this app with a kiosk-like system that needs software
control of the app. The Virtools app is one part of a larger multimedia
presentation that is being built by another group in my company. Their
software needs to load and control my application.

Will Dev give me that I/O access?

If yes, how difficult will it be for a user of Creation [read:
non-programmer] to make the changes? Are there samples of this?

If no, any suggestions?
