Re: [Virtools] small poll

Hi all,

It seems there was a little bug in the 1.0.1 with target cameras.
Use instead a free camera, and it should work perfectly.

Hope this will help you

Subject: Re: [Virtools] small poll

<wave> :-) A quick question while I'm here.
I have a camera following an object, I used the technique on
http://www.theswapmeet.com/marketplace/components.html
(followcam example) where there is a camera lag using a
frame, and the camera is kept at constant distance 0 from
the frame with attenuation of 20.

My problem is, I have a 3d object in front of the camera
(which is a child of the camera) and which I want to keep
in the same position relative to the camera (as it's part of the
interface).  For 'rotates' and 'translates' it works ok, but with
the 'keep at constant distance' behaviour the object moves about
around the camera and goes out of  view.  Does anyone know
of a way to fix this? (Or of a way of achieving camera lag without
using the 'keep at constant distance' behaviour).

Thanks.
Padraig
