[Virtools] MouseWaiter question

All,
I am doing a project with a ton of switches that send messages. To activate
them all I want to try and avoid using the MouseWaiter. It takes a decent
amount of processor power in relative terms of milliseconds.
Does the WaitMessenger accept more than the "onClick", "onDoubleClick", or
numeric values? Can it take "left/right click", or any other mouse messages?
We have the combo of "Mouse Waiter", "Get Mouse Position" and "2d Picking"
working for clicking on objects. However, there is a problem with it
discriminating between objects. Does anybody know how to make it work by
clicking on only one object?
Thanks in advance,
Matt Gierula
