HI,
Another interest of using texture crooping is to optimize the sytem
memory -> video memory transfer having the texture data of objects that are
in the same area.

1. Simple paint your textures side by side in your square. You can use
Photoshop which everyone
has and/or Painter from Corel to give your texture a more individual look.
2. Look at the 3D Stud. Max tutorial in the Tutorial booklet at p. 139 where
they build and
texture a Low-Poly Spaceship.
3. Look at the following adress: http://www.chilliweb.co.uk/chilliskinner/
maybe a this prog. fits your
needs.

Yes. Less wasted space in all your textures is a big plus for your
downloading clients.
Where can I find more info on texturing techniques for keeping small file
sizes?
Chilli :-)
