Thank you for your quick reply. I appreciate the response and it is encouraging
to know that my (and others) viewpoints are heard and taken seriously by the
company.
I have a few other comments to add:

While I am sure you have debated thoroughly over this issue, I hope Virtools
does not miss the opportunity to grab a good portion of market share while it
DOES have such a technical advantage. Once others have got a foothold I fear it
will be even more difficult to dislodge them regarless of the quality of your
product. I would think Virtools would want to make an extra effort now to stake
new ground while you do have an advantage. Strike while the proverbial iron is
hot.
However, I have offered my opinion and won't beleaguer this point any more. I
sincerely hope your strategy works because it would be such a shame for this
product to fall short of it's full potential.

I will!

Fair enough. As long as the quality of support remains good in the mailing list
(and Swap-Meet) I think most users will be happy. The bottom line is that
support (especially for a development tool) MUST be available one way or another
when needed. So perhaps it is more of a developer relations issue rather than a
practical implementation issue. It is important for us users to feel that the
company is *eager* rather than *reluctant* to support it's product and offer
help wherever it can. While I believe that Virtools is such a company, the
impression one gets when presented with a token email support system is not that
reassuring.

Yes it does. Thank you.
I have one last question regarding the DEV SE upgrade. If I do upgrade to DEV
SE and in the future (after making my millions :-) want to continue the upgrade
process to the full DEV product. Will I be given the opportunity to do so at a
discount so that my investment will not be lost? It is a VERY important
consideration for me (and I would imagine other Creations users who have not yet
upgraded). Currently I know that I can recoup all that I have invested in
Creation if I were to upgrade to DEV 2.0 *now* but as I mentioned that is not
possible for me. Will I have the same opportunity in the future?
Thanks again,
Jon Lee
