[Virtools] NIMDA VIRUS and the Swap-Meet



After three virus free years, our webserver finally succumbed to the NIMDA virus, aka, Code Red worm...
 
It particularly affected the disk drive that contained the Swap-Meet, which will be closed until all repairs can be made and verified... BUT you could have been infected if you visited the site yesterday or the night before...
 
The source code for every page on the Swap-Meet was modified to include javascript that opened an email containing the virus. If you have Windows 9X, NT, ME, 2000, Explorer or Outlook, you really must run an anti-virus program.
 
It's quite a nasty little bugger that spreads incredibly quickly.
