[Virtools] Switch on string

Hello all,

I'm making a (ascii) file reader.
I want to use a GetSubString and a SwitchOnParameter bb to determine the first character of a string.
Unfortunately the switch bb always results with the 'none' output when I input the result of the GetSubString bb....

Here's an illustration of what I mean :
