[Virtools] Re: Help with the physics....



Hi,

Let's try to help you with your pool game (no water game here right ? :)

- As described in the physics user's guide advice chapter, you shouldn't
physicalize too small object. As the collision precision is 1 cm (0.01
Virtools Units), the pool balls collision won't be accurate enough (greater
than 10% of the object size !).
Scale all your world by 10, and set physics time factor to 10 and it should
be ok.

- Remember that the mass is expressed in tons. Each of your pool's ball are
1 ton weigh !

- The elasticity of the pool's balls seems too high (they bounce too much
against each other).

- You'll maybe have to tweak also the friction of both table and balls.
