Hi,

Our university just received a copy of virtools and we are using this software to create a wheelchair simulation. We have an actual platform built that has hydraulics connected to it and this platform is going to move according to the input our simulation sends to it.

Assume the output we must send is the x,y,z coordinates of the wheelchair (which is our character in the simulation).

But, we cant seem to find a way that will make a simulation created by Virtools send output to another piece of software (probably in C or C++) constantly (in real time)

think about this whole thing as kind of a flight simulator ... (ex: you turn the joystick->makes you turn in the simulation-> at the same time makes the platform turn.)

I am sure we can figure out how to get the data we have to send out ... the only part we are confused is how can we actually send any kind of data in real time from a .cmo

or can we?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH ... THIS WILL BE EXTREMELY HELPFUL TO OUR TEAM !
