Subject: Returning nodeset from external functions From: "Dan Machak" <machak@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 3 Aug 1999 10:54:01 -0700 |
Hello, Is it possible to return return a nodeset from an external function? If so, are there any suggestions on how this could be done using XT? I want to do this in order to convert arbitrary strings to a set of elements. Here is an example: <xsl:template match="nodeName"> <xsl:apply-templates match="myJavaClass:stringConverter(string(.//text()))"/> </xsl:template> I would like to either return a String from stringConverter that is encoded as XML, or return an Object that could be converted to a nodeset. When I try the first, the XML markup is converted to entities (<, >).
