Try: <xsl:element name="{@name}"/> Maxim Fateev. Specifically, I wanna obtain <a/> from <element name="a"/>. (the value for @name is varying) I tried the followings, but failed. ... <xsl:variable name="elemName" select="@name"/> <xsl:element name="$elemName"/> ... Is the variable not allowed for @name of xsl:element? Then, how can I solve this?
