The idea is to create html hyperlinks which point to <xsl:template> elements in the .xsl document. So: I do not understand this question. Why do you want to point to anything in the xsl stylesheet?? If you are making a table of contents don't you want to point to the generated html documents? As often stated on this list it's easier to understand a sample input and desitred sample output than to understand a problem description.
