Dear David, the second alternative you mentioned with the two pass solution appears clear in my mind, although never have done it. Surely this a FAQ and the use of a second namespace will be the way to go. Because of that we only do until now client-side xsl-processing (IE6) trying to avoid the ms propietary interface ActiveX, this two pass solution it´s not a practical solution for my problem to customizing the url-selection. The first alternative it not clear at all.
