> If you consider java evil I don't think Elliotte considers it evil, since "java" appears on quite a few front covers to be seen here;-) http://www.elharo.com/ actually I'm rather surprised by the comment that the interface is difficult, there are pros and cons of using any system if course, but a command line of java -jar saxon8.jar source.xml style.xsl doesn't seem so hard especially if you stick the first bit in a one line shell script that says java -jar saxon8.jar $* so you just need to do saxon source.xml style.xsl David
