I am using the Jade SGML Transformation syntax -- (make > element...) etc -- not the HTML backend. Take a look at the (process-text) procedure in the DSSSL Cookbook, in <URL:http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dsssldoc/procedures/c0206.html>. (Hey, Tony, can we add a TOC to the Cookbook? I didn't see one, and had to hunt around for the correct URL.) The procedure needs to be rewritten to key off the entity name instead of the SDATA replacement value, so it'll be more easily portable to use with XML (which forbids SDATA entities), but it'll work. The proper way to do this would be with a query construction rule, but Jade 1.0 doesn't support that. -Chris -- <!NOTATION SGML.Geek PUBLIC "-//Anonymous//NOTATION SGML Geek//EN"> <!ENTITY crism PUBLIC "-//O'Reilly//NONSGML Christopher R.
