All this talk about generating an index and toc for the DSSSL standard, reminded me that I have a version of the DSSSL standard (or at least I *believe* it is the complete standard...) in compiled HTML Help format, complete with toc and index. I don't remember where I got it from, but I downloaded it somewhere. It's been useful! Of course compiled HTML Help only works on windows platforms... -----Original Message----- From: Matthias Clasen [mailto:clasen@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, June 23, 1999 11:21 AM To: dssslist@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Scheme Programming Reference > > is there any chance someone can collect information from members of the > > ISO working group that created DSSSL? > wouldnt they say they put their collective wisdom into the standard? > actually, I don't find it so bad. But since the sgml sources are online, shouldn't it be possible for us to come up with a stylesheet that creates a nicer-looking version ? OK, there may not be explicit indexing information in the source, but an index of the syntax-productions should be doable without touching the source. -- Matthias Clasen, Tel. 0761/203-5606 Email: clasen@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Mathematisches Institut, Albert-Ludwigs-Universitaet Freiburg DSSSList info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dssslist DSSSList info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dssslist
