The key phrase in Sam's query is "on my machine" -- he wants to do the
binding and transformation offline. I have been asking the same question in
various venues and have found that there really is no standard way to do
this. Seems to me that this dynamic local binding could be done in a URI,
using the pipe symbol for example:
"file://some/path/myinfo.xml|/some/other/path/filter1.xsl" would apply
/some/other/path/filter1.xsl to /some/path/myinfo.xml and display the
results.
