It is lacking in some areas, and some work I am doing may eventually replace this module (in the next year or so). They do not support XSL-FO for obvious reasons: it is still highly contentious, and they wanted to have a bang-up CSS implementation before wasting their time on much less useful stuff. However, the point is well-taken. No current browser (even looking four months into the future) supports XSLT reliably, and only when the two Big Boys (IE, Moz) support it well will web developers begin to rely on it.
