Wow !!! ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Liam Quin <liam@xxxxxx> Date: Feb 23, 2006 3:55 PM Subject: Five xdt:* types renamed To: www-ql@xxxxxx It's relatively unusual to make substantive changes in specifications this late in the W3C Process, but everyone involved felt it was an improvement: The types xdt:anyAtomicType, xdt:yearMonthDuration, xdt:dayTimeDuration, xdt:untyped, and xdt:untypedAtomic will all be moved into the W3C XML Schema namespace (with the kind permission of the W3C XML Schema Working Group) and will therefore become xs:anyAtomicType, xs:yearMonthDuration, xs:dayTimeDuration xs:untyped, and xs:untypedAtomic. Liam (W3C Staff Contact and Participant in the XML Query Working Group) -- Liam Quin, W3C XML Activity Lead, http://www.w3.org/People/Quin/ Texts and Pictures from old books: http://www.fromoldbooks.org/ Liam ("Ankh") on the Web: http://www.holoweb.net/~liam/ -- Cheers, Dimitre Novatchev --------------------------------------- The significant problems we have cannot be solved at the same level of thinking with which we created them.
