While a good PAL TV could do 240 scanlines, it could not display colours like these. There is no bright yellow, red or orange in the PAL VCS palette. Also the stripes in the HMOVE comb are only 4 pixels long. On a real VCS they would be 8 pixels long. They seem to apear in every other scanline, although there doesn't seem to be anything, that needs repositioning The starfield doesn't seem to follow a pattern. In some lines there are 2 stars at the same time. I don't think there would be enough cycles to do the calculation for a complex starfield with all the other things being displayed together with it. If the blue thing in the center is made of playfield graphics, the colour of the shots would interfere with it. If it is done with other objects, it would interfere with the meters, since they seem to be both player graphics on to of each other, set to two copies far spacing and positioned at the very right of the screen, so that the second copy would be displayed at the left. BTW: what is so special about this game, that anyone would want to make up a 2600 version of it?
