I had a couple of snap-on ferrite filters lying around so I put one on the
cable from the VCS to the TV and one on the Cuttle Cart audio cable
attached to the PC sound card.
I've been able to completely eliminate interference by moving the cable
going to the TV. Often coiling all the slack cable as far away from the
Atari as possible will get rid of the static, and sometimes wrapping the
cable around the TV a couple of times helps for some reason.
