You mean it's meant to float around?

Yep +- 100 times per book, per section or subsection. But we also have
figures and formulas that we want to put afloat.

Nope. We get a nicely spanned title wen specifying (make display-group
span:3 ) but with paragraph instead we only get a nice blank page. 
NB: when doing anything other than make sequence with paragraph, we just
get a nice blank page. You really get to like them when you see them a lot.
