Indirectly, yes: via JadeTeX you'll get at PostScript output, and because it 
is hard to outperform TeX in this area, I don't think there is much use for 
putting time into a backend that writes PostScript directly (apart from the 
convenience of not having to install TeX, but that convenience is getting 
smaller by the day: TeX stays constant in size and harddisk capacities keep 
growing :-)).
