Kendall, You need to declare the language of the text being hyphenated. The easiest way to do this is: (declare-initial-value language 'EN) which says that the default value for the language characteristic is 'EN (the two letter abbreviation for English). -dan Kendall Shaw wrote: > I'm using openjade 1.3 on nt 4.
