Subject: System variables From: Jany Quintard <quintard.j@xxxxxx> Date: Thu, 4 May 2000 10:33:54 +0200 (CEST) |
Hi all I am looking for a method to use date and time of execution in my stylesheets. If I run openjade on a Unix, it is very easy to store the value in a variable and pass it to the program with the -V switch. The problem begins with DOS. I don't know the command language very well and it seems to be poor. Actually, I am not even sure that such a "complicated" data manipulation is possible. I want to avoid to tell my customer (and collegue) to enter the date, since the system should be able to retrieve it. I am wondering if there would be a solution in DSSSL (I did not find it in the spec) or in OpenJade itself ? Any idea ? Jany. DSSSList info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dssslist
