You may indeed point it out, but since I am not distributing the
modified file, but simply providing a workaround (in patch form) to
users who are currently crippled, you would be wrong that I am
violating anything.

I think Debian has show that it, more than any other distribution,
takes licensing seriously.

I've CC'd the original bug report, which the Debian tetex maintainer
is handling (not me), just to make sure he knows this.
