This would be particularly relevant to <media> objects that are becoming more
common place.

Maybe, or maybe you need a full section (<sec>) as one of the options inside
<alternatives>, to hold a complete transcript of a video?

It sounds like some requirements gathering is needed.

Those of you who process videos, what do you need to have available in
addition to the video itself, perhaps inside an alternative?
