Hi John. ::chuckle:: No the XMP tag isn't some funky MS thing it's HTML... remember HTML? :P XMP is officially regarded as obsolete in HTML 4.0, supposedly the PRE tag does all that is desired. The person who desided this didn't actualy realise what the XMP tag does. It preformats text, but also doesn't parse any content, it stands for EXAMPLE, and allows authors to give example mark-up withour resorting to >mytag< The W3C will pull the XMP tag from my dead hands, it's a fight to the death I tell ya! Only one question: What the heck is an <XMP> tag? Is this some MS convention for putting IE5 into debug mode or something? [SNIP] XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
