Subject: [xsl] including content files for output? From: Eric Scheid <eric.scheid@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 21 Dec 2005 04:33:30 +1100 |
I want to be able to include previously generated output files into the
output of the current xslt. For example, say an earlier process produced a
file "previous.html" containing this html snippet (and just this snippet):
<ol>
<li>foo</li>
<li>bar</li>
</ol>
... and now I want to include the contents of "previous.html" into my
current XSLT processing:
<xsl:stylesheet ...>
<xsl:template match="/">
<html>
<body>
<xsl:for-each select="data">[...]</xsl:for-each>
<br/>
<!-- here is where I want previous.html to appear -->
</body>
</html>
</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>
On a hunch I tried both xsl:import and xsl:include but got the expected
error. Is there some way to do this?
