Of course the
<xsl:variable name="lists" select="QName('','ol'),QName('','ul')"/>
is really just there to give Michael a chance to point out that a more
elegant approach would be use a schema that put all lists into a list
substitution group or schema type and then select on that schmema
construct rather than selecting on names and maintaining a list of names
(or QNames) in the stylesheet, but that requires a schema aware processor.
